Microsoft Asia is one of the 3 regions of Microsoft Commercial Business and covers 6 Areas: India, Greater China Region, Japan, APAC, Korea and ANZ (Australia & New Zealand) multi-country region.

All 6 areas of Asia have been a key enabler of the market IT growth through solid partnership with Governments, Enterprise, small and medium as well as IT partners and consumer partners of the region.

Asia Finance team has the responsibility to partner with sales and marketing teams and be a bridge between corporate functions and 6 Areas.

Microsoft Finance is a truly global finance team, and you will be part of the WW FC Community and representing Asia to make each other great and build on each other.

Responsibilities:

Partnership:

Drive growth strategy in Consulting focus areas and whitespace opportunities
Partner with Segments to drive conversations and business decisionmaking on Cloud Consumption, Deal Economics (return on investment). Leverage Cloud & Market/Compete analytics
Drive productivity & capacity insights for Consulting resources
Bring insights by sales motion which drive measurable impact based on clear drivers
Drive business transformation focusing on Digital Transformation Wins, Industry expertise and New Business Models.

Prioritization:

Lead the financial Rhythm of Business for ISD in Asia and in 6 Areas, including forecast and budget.
Partner with Segment Leads to ensure accurate forecast and predictability of business (Quarterly and Monthly updates).
Support Simplification on Budget & Forecast centralization and field reporting standardization across 6 Areas.

Protect

Drive compliance in the Segment with focus on Proactive Risk Management including healthy billing controls.

People

The role will be reporting to Asia FP&A Director, and will be part of the Field Intelligence Finance Team.
Will work closely with Asia CFO, Area Commercial Finance Directors and the WW Community Lead to ensure operational excellence, compliance to Microsoft policies and strategic revenue growth.
Connect the dots and help Field finance team land the Corp strategy or escalate issues and help needed.

Qualifications:

This position involves a significant amount of exposure to executive and senior management and requires the ability to communicate ideas and analysis effectively, thereby influencing business decisions, so executive maturity, business acumen and presentation and communication skills need to be your strengths.

In addition, this role is remote from the Core Field Intelligence Finance Team and we need someone that can execute autonomously.

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 10+ years of postgraduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 8+ years of postgraduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications
