Description

As an Administrative Assistant at our logistics company, you will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations and providing efficient administrative assistance.

You will work closely with the Transport/Logistics Supervisor to ensure smooth transportation arrangements, manage customer inquiries, and oversee trucking allocations.

Your organizational skills and attention to detail will contribute to the timely delivery and collection of goods. The ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders is essential for success in this role.

Additionally, your proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets will aid in the preparation of necessary documentation.


Responsibilities:


Office Administrative Support:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Assist in managing office supplies, equipment, and facilities.


Transportation Coordination:
Liaise and coordinate with internal departments and external parties to facilitate transportation arrangements.

Collaborate with the Transport/Logistics Supervisor to assign and control trucking allocations for timely delivery and collection.

Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation related to transportation activities.


Customer Service:
Address customer inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.

Provide assistance and support to resolve any issues or concerns raised by customers.

Maintain a positive and customer-focused approach in all interactions.


Fleet Management:
Oversee and manage a fleet of drivers, ensuring adherence to schedules and compliance with safety regulations.

Monitor driver performance and provide guidance as needed.

Coordinate driver training initiatives and maintain accurate records of certifications and licenses.


Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including reports, invoices, and delivery records.

Utilize Microsoft Office and Google Sheets proficiently to create, edit, and organize documents and spreadsheets.


Flexibility and Overtime:
Demonstrate the ability to work overtime as required to meet business needs and deadlines.


Additional Information:

Location:
Jurong - Sunview.


Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Rest Days:
Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.

Training:
Comprehensive training will be provided to enhance job-specific skills and knowledge.

Language Proficiency:
Must be able to communicate effectively in English and Chinese.

Remuneration:
Starting salary of SGD per month, with overtime opportunities.
