    Digital Trust Centre (DTC) Research Associate

    We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Research Associate.

    About the Role:

    The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research and development in trust technologies, translating algorithms into tools and frameworks, and implementing working prototypes that demonstrate how research outputs can be innovated to build new capabilities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct research and development in trust technologies, including designing and developing research prototypes into proof-of-concept systems.
    • Design and build working tools that support the technology transfer of new capabilities to research partners and showcase the value of a given research outcome.
    • Write and maintain technical documentation, presentations, and papers on research into trust technologies testing, educating stakeholders and raising competency in emerging areas of trust technologies.
    • Engage with global partners and researchers to understand the latest trends and advance Singapore's mindshare in this domain.

    Job Requirements:

    • A Master's degree in a related field is required.
    • Excellent communication skills and an interdisciplinary interest are desired, enabling interaction with researchers at the Centre.
    • The ability to work independently and develop solutions under strict timelines is essential.
    • The ability to code-switch between business and tech discourse, facilitating stakeholder understanding of complex research concepts.
    • Strong knowledge of system platform development, socket programming, middleware technologies, API development, related application frameworks, and service layer models.
    • Familiarity with general API security concepts, such as key validation, authentication, and authorisation.
    • Good understanding of relational database and Unix shell scripting skills.
