    Roles & Responsibilities

    ​​​​​​​Speech Language Therapist

    Salary Range: $4000 - $6000
    Working Days: 5 Days Mon-Fri 8.30AM-6.00PM
    Location: Siglap

    Job Description

    • Assess to identify the speech, language and communication difficulties of our school aged children (7 to 18 years) with ASD
    • Provide appropriate intervention plans and exercise decision making skills to choose appropriate therapeutic strategies specific to the profile of the student.
    • Case discussions and contribute to case management team meetings.
    • Educate and provide consultation and training to teachers, coaches, parents and other stakeholders.
    • Providing Augmentative and Alternative Communication intervention such as visuals supports, Voice Output Communication Aids, Hi tech Aids with communication Apps for students.
    • Providing Functional Communication training to students on the Autism Spectrum.

    Job Requirements:

    • Possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology from an institution recognized by the Allied Health Professional Council (Singapore)
    • Work experience with young children with speech, language or communication problems and/or related work experience would be an advantage
    • Practical experience in intervention for Language/Learning (Child & Adolescent), Literacy, Social Pragmatic Language, Swallowing/Dysphagia difficulties in autism spectrum disorder is an asset
