    Roles & Responsibilities

    Hiring Retail Associate

    Our client carries mini backpacks, casual bags, fun time stationery and accessories, pouches, ergonomic school bags and more.

    Products fabrics are made of ocean bound plastic and the Go Green Edition uses upcycled fabrics. These materials reduce our environmental impact to the planet

    Key Tasks


    • Provide friendly and professional customer service


    • Engage customers, understand their needs, and offer recommendations


    • Process transactions accurately using retail POS systems, including handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods


    • Maintain a clean and organized store environment


    • Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets


    • Stay updated on product knowledge and sales techniques


    • Handle inquiries, complaints, and returns efficiently


    • Participate in promotional events and marketing initiatives


    •Conduct stock takes and inventory checks


    • Ensure all visual and merchandising directives, promotions and executed in a timely manner

    Requirements

    Ø Ability to read, write and speak conversational level English

    Ø Ability to speak another languages besides English will be a plus

    Ø Having minimum 1 year of retail / customer service experience is an added advantage

    Ø Secondary 2 or equivalent and above

    Ø Have high passion and interest in Retail Industry

    Ø Have initiative, customer-orientated

    Ø Committed, team player

    Ø Ability to work independently

    Ø Strong skills needed in communication, teamwork, flexibility, proactiveness

    Ø Able to accomplish multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

    Ø Basic computer skills and retail system proficiency, including familiarity with retail POS systems

    Ø Ability to handle cash transactions accurately

    Ø Able to commit to retail stores operating hours, weekends and public holidays

    Ø Basic office skills and proficiency in retail systems will be essential for this role
