Job Overview

Requirements:

• At least 12 years of experience in a lead role within the interior design industry, with a strong portfolio of design work.
• Experienced in managing and directing complex projects across multiple locations, with an international background and exposure to each design stage up until handover.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead, mentor and maintain client relationships.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office & Excel, SketchUp knowledge appreciated but not required.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage schedules, and track progress with general knowledge of budget.
• Experienced working on luxury hotels & resorts and private residential projects.

Responsibilities:

• Foster the development of creative and innovative design concepts and solutions.
• The ability to take initiative and drive a project independently from design intent to completion by directing the design team.
• Coordination of architecture and interiors that support a team structure.
• Manage and control the quality of project drawing sets, design and materials and understand performance specifications.
• Ability to efficiently manage a design team, client team, and operator team through all phases of a project
• Stellar organization and project delivery skills
• Understanding the complexity of client/operator relationship for hotels and resorts.
• Liaise with consultants, manufactures and suppliers involved in the project.
• Good comprehension of design planning, materials, details, furniture, and fixtures.
• Ensure projects are delivered within budget and on time.
• Create project schedules that are issued internally and externally.
• Oversee the production of design and construction documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
• Collaborate with international teams, including architects and landscape designers, to integrate interior design with overall project vision.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, leveraging this knowledge to drive innovation and growth within the organization.
• Must be meticulous and a good team player and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and perform in a fastpaced environment.
• Willing and able to travel oversees for up to 1 to 2 weeks at a time for projects.
