Installation Manager


Job Purpose

  • The Installation Manager will be required to lead a group of Project Engineers and be responsible for overseeing and managing the installation phase of CCTV projects, ensuring that installations are carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with project specifications and industry standards. The incumbent will also coordinate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning:
  • Collaborate with project managers to review project requirements and develop installation plans.
  • Create installation schedules, allocate resources, and set milestones.
  • Supervision and Leadership:
  • Lead and manage installation team, including suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Provide guidance, direction, and support to ensure efficient and highquality installations.
  • Resource Management:
  • Allocate personnel, equipment, and materials as needed for installations.
  • Monitor resource utilization and make adjustments to optimize efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure that CCTV installations adhere to design specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to verify work quality and compliance.
  • Safety Compliance:
  • Promote a safe working environment and enforce safety protocols.
  • Conduct safety training for installation teams and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Client Interaction:
  • Communicate with clients to schedule installations and address any installationrelated inquiries or concerns.
  • Maintain positive client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Problem Solving:
  • Identify and address technical and logístical challenges during installations.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
  • Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including work logs, equipment used, and any changes made during installation.
  • Prepare installation reports and progress updates for project managers and clients.
  • Budget Management:
  • Assist in monitoring installation budgets and expenditures.
  • Report on financial status and variances to project management.
  • Training and Development:
  • Provide training and mentorship to installation teams to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Stay updated on the latest CCTV technology and installation techniques.

Qualifications & Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering, with minimum 7 years of related field experience or, Diploma in Electronic / Electrical Engineering with 15 years of related field experience.
  • Proven experience in managing and supervising LTA green & brown field projects.
  • Experience in the railway industry will be an added advantage.
