Description
The Creative Director (CD) directs the creative vision and strategic planning for ADK and sets creative standards, both art and copy.
The incumbent will oversee assigned projects and new business opportunities, ensuring they are the best demonstration of the agency's capabilities.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Interpret opinions, advise top level management, generate a multitude of opportunities to increase firm awareness, create and execute good will, and track the results of campaigns and deliverables.
- Maintain seniorlevel relationships with clients including senior marketing/brand managers, and agency players.
- Establish trusted advisor relationships in which clients and colleagues seek out advice and counsel.
- Strategic partner with clients; forming a deep understanding of the market and business sectors and their specific challenges and opportunities.
- Provide thought leadership, insights, and perspectives that support client initiatives and align services with client needs.
- Maintain close relationship with the client's assigned leadership contact to ensure Creative Design deliverables (i.e. visual concept, design, textual content, etc.) follow project specifications and meet or exceed client needs.
- Prioritize the creative work as per client's demands.
- Direct the creative functionalities of concept development, collaborating with team members, creating work environment, meeting work expectations, and discussing team goals and achievements.
- Ensure the effective maintenance of creative functionalities, developing the creative products as per the market standards, maintaining the quality of creative work projects, and operating the designing firm in a profitable manner.
- Make important decisions that ensure the organizational profitability without compromising the creative quality of projects.
- Focus on constant improvement in creative quality, and enhancing the design capabilities of the creative team.
- Oversee selection and management of freelance services.
- Daytoday staff management for the Art, Video Production, Post-Production and Copywriting teams.
