Manage and supervise the execution of external audit engagements of various clients including Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registrants in accordance with relevant regulatory and professional auditing and assurance standards
Clients will include SEC registrants, affiliates of SEC registrants and potential SEC registrants
Maintain a working knowledge of and research findings regarding accounting literature trends and technical issues relevant to the client's industry
Oversee engagement management including managing the budget resourcing strategy billing and collections and progress against the plan timeline and milestones
Set the culture for the engagement team and mentor members in their career development
Coach and develop team members to achieve technical competencies and efficient performance
Build and manage client relationships and accounts driving the client experience and identifying business development opportunities
Understand and utilize KPMG's audit methodology

at least 5 years of managerial experience in a public accounting firm conducting audits and reviews under PCAOB auditing standards and US GAAS. Experience working directly with SEC Registrants and having PCAOB inspection experience is advantageous.

a recognised degree in Accountancy and professional accounting qualifications such as CA Singapore or an equivalent (e.g. ACA, CA Australia, etc).

a strong knowledge of IFRS, PCAOB auditing standards, SOX 404b requirements and SEC rules;

a good understanding of pertinent business and risk management issues and familiarity with the regulatory and reporting environment
