Description
1) Occupational Safety and Health

  • Conduct training for Employees i.e., Safety Orientation, Workplace Injury/Illness Prevention, Incident Reporting, Ergonomics, Hazard Identification, Hazard Communication
  • Incident Investigation and follow up
  • Conduct and review Risk Assessments
  • Implement safe work procedures and policies
  • Ensure site compliance with Petroleum and Flammable Materials (P&FM) Storage License requirements
  • Ensure site compliance with Permit to store and use Hazardous Substances
  • Ensure Emergency Response Preparedness through biannual training of Fire Wardens and First Aiders
  • Connect with Global and Regional EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) network on a regular basis through Network Meetings and Training Sessions
2) Industrial Hygiene

  • Industrial Hygiene Monitoring Program through air monitoring sampling to determine levels of exposure to chemical and hazardous substances
  • Indoor Air Quality Testing i.e., Temperature, humidity, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
3) Environmental

  • Recycling and sustainability programs
  • Management of hazardous waste disposal

Job Requirements:


  • Degree/ n Environmental Management, Occupational Health, and Safety or equivalent Specialist Diploma in WSH or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year working experience relevant to the work to be carried out by a WSHO, with good knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental Law & Regulations of Singapore
  • Experience in Laboratories Safety
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Selfdriven and able to work independently
  • Selfmotivated team player with excellent organizational and communication skills
