Chemist

As a Chemist, your responsibilities for ecological solutions will involve: Establish sampling, analysis and segregation for incoming wastes and train lab
- technicians to work on it.
  • Work closely with Logistics, Hazmat and Operations in handling incoming waste.
  • Perform chemical analyses on waste materials using various analytical techniques
- such as GC, IC, XRF, TOC, ICP-OES etc.
  • Maintain and calibrate analytical instruments, troubleshoot any issues, and keep
- accurate records of instrument maintenance and calibration.
  • Utilize Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for sample tracking,
- data management, and quality control procedures.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of data entry into the LIMS and generate

- reports as required.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO requirements for laboratory procedures,

- documentation, and record-keeping.
  • Draft and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for laboratory processes
- and waste management practices.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the timely and accurate
- completion of tasks, including sample preparation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Ensure good housekeeping in the laboratory.
  • Participate in internal and external audits and inspections as required.
  • Communicate effectively with other stakeholders to ensure compliance with
- regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
  • Any other task assigned by a Senior Chemist / Lab Manager.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety

- requirements.

The required criteria to fulfill these qualifications are: Minimum diploma in chemical-related field with at least 3 years of laboratory
- experience.
  • A degree in Chemistry related field with no working experience can also be

- considered.
  • Good Analytical abilities and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently.
  • No colour blindness.
