Job Description & Responsibilities:
Reporting to and collaborating with the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Legal Counsel is the is accountable for the following areas:GovernanceComplianceManagementRelationsSecretarialThe Senior Legal Counsel must manage the Corporate Processes for each of the above, including calendar deadlines and necessary transactions which requires successful collaboration with all necessary stakeholders to complete all necessary transactions and documents

Specific Tasks:

You will draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements including vendor, sponsorship, licensing, banking and financial agreements, M&A transactions, and our IT/IP arrangements.

You will provide advice/legal support in the areas of contract and risk management, intellectual property, procurement, dispute resolution and other contractual matters, inclusive of the financial and non-financial risk of the aboveManage all insurance policies.

Manage employment related legal issues as they arise.
Manage local corporate governance and company secretarial matters.
You will research and advice on different legal topics across multiple departments and offices across multiple jurisdictions.


Qualifications/ Requirements:

Degree in law from a recognized university and are admitted to the Singapore BarMinimum 10 years of PQE; Must have experience in either sales, systems integration, software development or project management organizations.

Public Sector experience preferred.
Must have experience across multiple jurisdictions in SE Asia.
Sound knowledge of the law in relation to general corporate advisory work including company and contract law.
Able to draft, review, and negotiate legal contracts and complex legal concepts.
Ability to think strategically and is driven and motivated to push boundaries.
Team player able to work independently with strong project and people management skills.
Overseas legal education or work experience will be advantageous.
