About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our organisation as the Head of Operations (Healthcare Services).

In this role, you will play a critical function in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our existing dialysis centre(s) under Ihsan Kidney Care (IKC), oversee the establishment and management of new healthcare facilities and services, as well as build strong networking relationships within the industry to support the strategic growth of MTFA's community healthcare objectives.


Responsibilities

Operational Leadership:

Provide strategic direction and leadership to the IKC team and future healthcare service units, to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, optimal resource utilisation, and adherence to quality standards.


Healthcare Facility Management:

As the Healthcare Facility Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our existing Kidney Centre (IKC) and future healthcare services that MTFA rolls out.

Your role includes ensuring exceptional patient care, developing treatment protocols, managing medical staff, and maintaining the facility to the highest standards.

Additionally, you will ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements to guarantee the utmost safety and care for our patients across all healthcare services.


Networking and Collaboration:

Building and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers and relevant government agencies, will be a significant part of your role.

Your expertise in facilitating collaborations and partnerships will contribute to improved patient care and service delivery at IKC and for all future healthcare services introduced by MTFA.


Performance Monitoring and Improvement:

Your role involves implementing performance metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.

Continuously analysing data and processes will enable you to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance productivity and achieve better patient outcomes across all our healthcare services.


Budgeting and Resource Allocation:

As the Facility Manager, you will develop and manage budgets for both the Kidney Centre and the Networking division, which includes all future healthcare services.

Your proficient resource allocation skills will play a pivotal role in achieving operational goals and financial objectives for all our healthcare endeavors.


Team Development:

A crucial aspect of your role will involve mentoring, training, and developing staff within the Kidney Centre and Networking teams.

Fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous professional growth will ensure a highly motivated and skilled workforce for all our current and future healthcare services.


Regulatory Compliance:
Staying up-to-date with healthcare regulations, industry best practices, and quality standards will be a key responsibility.

Your attention to detail will ensure that our facility complies with all applicable regulations and requirements for the current Kidney Centre and all future healthcare services.


Crisis Management:

Your ability to effectively handle crisis situations, emergencies, and unforeseen challenges will be invaluable in maintaining seamless operations for both the Kidney Centre and the Networking division, ensuring top-notch patient care and service delivery across all our healthcare services.


Reporting:

Prepare and present regular reports to senior management and other stakeholders, detailing the performance, achievements, and challenges faced by the frontline healthcare teams.


  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in healthcare management will be a plus.
  • Proven experience in healthcare operations management, with a specific focus on kidney care or related specialties.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing teams and driving positive results.
  • Excellent networking and relationshipbuilding capabilities to foster collaborations within the healthcare industry.
  • Solid understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and industry trends.
