Description
Our Client a supply chain operator is in the midst of expanding their IT Team. This is a great opportunity to join a growing data science team IT.

You will be a part of a diverse and global team that is leading the way in developing cargo solutions that make supply chains more agile, resilient, and sustainable.


What you'll do:

  • Develop and implement data analytics solutions that support global business objectives and local requirements.
  • Work with key internal customers to understand their data analytics needs.
  • Design, develop, and deploy data analytics solutions that meet those needs.
  • Build AI/ML models using opensource programming languages, tools, and techniques.
  • Analyze highvolume, highdimensionality, and highvolatility data to obtain business insights and recommendations.
  • Work and collaborate with data science and data engineering team at all stages of CRISP-DM Methodology. Align to data policy, data governance standards, and best practices, and document as required.

Requirements:

Programming skills:Strong programming skills in at least one statistical programming language, such as Python. Knowledge of statistics and machine learning techniques.

Data visualization experience:Experience in one of the visualization tools, preferably Power BI. Experience in building data models/cubes using SSAS or Azure Analysis Services.

Data analytics experience:Full development lifecycle experience for the data analytics solutions, such as business & data understanding, data preparation, model development, visualization, validation, and deployment. Experience in developing AI/ML solutions for a variety of data analytics problems. Experience in Azure ML, Databricks, or Synapse Analytics is preferred.

Education:A good degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Management, Engineering, and/or Masters in Business Analytics or a related field.

Communication skills:Effective communicator who can work with diverse stakeholders to define requirements, refine data analytics use cases, and present the data insights.

Interpersonal skills:Strong interpersonal and presentation skills and ability to manage cross cultural differences and sensitivities. At least 3 years and above of experience.
