We are seeking someone with 10+ years of corporate legal background to manage the legal and compliance team in Tokyo.

You will report to the CEO of SBI Digital Asset Holdings Co. Ltd.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESSupporting business operations and counseling business teams with respect to day-to-day matters as well as key strategic initiativesReviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide range of contractswEnsure the smooth running of the corporation from a legal, general corporate, perspectiveCoordinate with regulators in JapanWork closely with business teams to establish and implement policies, procedures and trainingPartnering closely with internal and external stakeholdersIn the future, building a legal team in Tokyo and SingaporeQUALIFICATIONS

EducationBachelor's degree in law, or related fieldExperience10+ years of corporate legal background. Experience in the digital asset space is welcome but not a requisite.10 ~ 15 years of law firm or in-house legal experience with a global companyQualified in Japan or English-speaking jurisdictionTop tier law firm experience or in-house experiencePrior experience with financial regulations is necessaryKnowledge of payment laws is a plusAdvised/worked with fintech firms in the past is an advantageFluent in Japanese, Very strong Business English
