Description

DevOps Engineer

NodeFlair is hiring for our client, a provider responsible for developing and maintaining essential services within Singapore's government systems. We are looking for a specialist in deploying onto the AWS Cloud, with a strong understanding and proficiency in AWS services. Ideally, candidates will also have exposure to GCloud in the past.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, execute, and uphold our cloud infrastructure on AWS.
Create and manage automated deployment pipelines utilizing tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.
Monitor system performance and resolve any arising issues.
Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure seamless code integration into production.
Enforce and update security protocols for our cloud infrastructure.
Enhance scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our systems continually.
Engage with diverse teams to explore and implement innovative technologies and processes for infrastructure and development enhancements.
Take part in on-call rotations for addressing critical production issues.
Document and sustain system configurations and procedures.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field is required.
A minimum of 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a particular emphasis on AWS, and familiarity with GCloud is advantageous.
Proficiency in database management and SQL is essential.
Outstanding problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities are necessary.
Effective communication and collaboration skills are critical.
The ability to work both independently and in a team setting is essential.
AWS certifications would be beneficial.
