CNC Machinist - Singapore - MICROCAST PTE. LTD.

Description

To perform setting up operations (for CNC milling machines) as part of the process in fabricating precision molds. Role also involves using other tool-room machineries and checking equipment during the course of fitting operations. Requires effective communication of observations and proactive action throughout the operation.

· Ability to read, interpret drawings and specifications of tools, dies or models; computing dimensions and tolerances and verify machined parts conform to specification.

· Performs programming and set-up operations in CNC milling machines.

· Prepares raw material for machine set-up operations.

· Conducts in-process inspection and final checks on work.

· Work with the Supervisor on the job planning, delivery time, scheduling, machine utilisation and productivity.

· Ensures proper maintenance of machinery and measuring equipment.

· Ensure that areas are kept clean at all times and cleaning schedules are followed.

· All other duties as assigned.
