Description

The role

We're in a phase of digital transformation, and are looking for a senior backend developer to

come on board and join our team of experienced developers. You will be working primarily

with our Technology Business Partner for the Martech Pillar on improving our internal

applications and building out exciting new features.

Responsibilities:

● Back-End Development: Develop robust server-side logic and APIs using Java

● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product

managers, and other stakeholders to understand and deliver on project

requirements.

● Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimise

applications for maximum speed and scalability.

● Cloud Deployment: Deploy applications and services on AWS Cloud infrastructure

Required skills and qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

● Minimum 3-5 years of professional Backend Development experience

● Familiarity with source control, specifically git

● Familiarity with databases, both SQL and NoSQL

● Experience in building and optimising large-scale web applications.

● Experience in systems design with cloud-like technologies such as Amazon Web

Services (AWS)
