About the Team

The System Technologies and Engineering (STE) team participates in the development and research in infrastructure system technologies, such as operating system kernel, various virtualisation technologies (Cloud Native, SDN, NFV), performance optimisation of system software and libraries, stability and reliability of large-scale Data Center, collaborative design of next-generation hardware and software, etc.

In addition, the team actively participates in open-source communities and incorporate cutting-edge technology and innovation into our products.

The team is looking for a self-motivated and innovative architect for the large scale Data Center system software domain.

This individual will play an important role in the collaboration with the local SRE team and business lines to improve system reliability, availability, stability and system performance to lower the cost of their infrastructure resources.

Responsibilities:

Direct technical focus on Systems technology to improve large scale Data Center system reliability, availability, stability and system performance;
Lead the team's innovation efforts such as idea generation, developing strategies, building longterm team development plans, identifying action plans to solve critical challenges and demands in system technologies;
Make business recommendations based on sound data analysis and indepth understanding of technologies;
Drive crossfunctional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to drive our engineering efforts and projects delivery;
Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members and project peers
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related majors;
At least 5 years of experiences in areas such as Server System Software, Computer System Architecture, Operation Systems, Networking, System Troubleshooting and Application Performance Analysing and optimisation
At least 3+ years of experiences in Team Management with strong proficiency in areas such as team building, talent development, etc;
Possesses excellent communication abilities with strong interpersonal and leadership skills;
