- Greet and guide patients/NOKs entering the ED; direct NOKs to PSA service counter for financial counseling when necessary.
- Provide basic information (e.g., wayfinding, patient journey) to patients/NOKs.
- Assist patients/NOKs with the Self-Service Station when required.
- Offer assistance and escalate to ED staff when a patient feels unwell or requires a wheelchair at the ED entrance.
- Provide blankets to patients in the waiting area when necessary.
- Conduct basic screenings of patients/NOKs as needed.
- Carry out duties assigned during Mass Casualties events and pandemic outbreaks.
- Ensure service readiness at all times.
- Register patient NOK information and provide basic info on expected waiting time.
- Attend to inquiries regarding patient location after verification.
- Assist in contacting the patient's NOK if necessary.
- Reference and enforce the Visiting Policy, managing patient NOK visits to the observation areas of the ED.
- Perform any other assignments allocated by the Supervisor or department.
- Physically fit
- Completed GCE "O" level or "N" level with a Certificate in Office Skills.
- Preferably minimum of 1-year frontline experience. Background in healthcare will be advantageous.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Able to work rotating shifts, including weekends and Public Holidays.
- Must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents.
