    Roles & Responsibilities

    Job Descriptions:

    • Attending to field service duties, troubleshooting and repairing various marine equipment such as Deck Cranes, Grabs, Windlasses, Hatch Cover Hydraulics, and Davits.

    Job Requirements:

    • Solid electric, hydraulic & mechanic knowledge, with background either as a former maker's engineer (MacGregor, Liebherr, IHI, Mitsubishi)
    • Good Ship's Electrician (Electric Technical Officer) who has sailing experience on bulkers with deck cranes.
    • 3-5 years' experience in the industry.
    • In-depth knowledge and understanding of PLC-controlled electro-hydraulic cranes and hydraulic machinery.
    • Proficiency in reading and comprehending electric and hydraulic diagrams.
    • Ability to independently troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues.
    • Capability to lead a team of mechanics and oversee significant repair projects as a Lead Engineer onboard, during voyages, and in Ship Yards.
    • Proficiency in writing technical reports and communicating effectively with owners' representatives.
    • Previous experience as an Electrical Officer (E/O) on bulker vessels equipped with deck cranes would be beneficial.
    • Prior employment as a service engineer with a leading deck crane manufacturer would be advantageous.
    • Familiarity with variable frequency drives (VFD) would be advantageous.
