Overview of the role

The Purchases Analyst position focuses on managing procurement operations and driving cost optimization across the organization. This role involves analyzing spending patterns, negotiating with vendors, and supporting strategic sourcing initiatives while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

- Managing procurement activities, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and purchase order processing.

- Analyzing purchasing data and market trends to identify cost reduction opportunities and optimization strategies.

- Negotiating pricing, terms, and service level agreements with suppliers to maximize value.

- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and develop effective sourcing strategies.

- Monitoring supplier performance metrics and maintaining productive vendor relationships.

- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring adherence to procurement policies.

Requirements

- Procurement Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.

- Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency with purchasing systems and data analysis tools.

- Negotiation Abilities: Proven track record in effective negotiation and supplier relationship management.
