(Training and Advocacy) Project Lead (Singapore)


The mission is to collaborate with the global and local training leads in the retail space and Channel Sales and Activations counterparts to create, lead, and manage retail training initiatives in APAC.

This role will take ownership of the localisation and implementation of globally developed training initiatives for the various APAC markets (AU, JP, SG, TW, KR, IN) and also be responsible for the planning and development of any regionally-led training initiatives for our technology client as we're working on a larger retail marketing rollout for the brand.


Role:

  • Executing on global retail training strategy provided by the brand's training and advocacy team
  • Define the retail training strategy and ensure it aligns with global and local training priorities.
  • Responsible for the development and execution of regionallyled training initiatives.
  • Partnering with regional and country leads to understand the field's training needs better and align on local training plans to achieve business goals.
  • Proactively adjust and enhance training initiatives as needed.
  • Establish yourself as the main point of contact for local and global training POCs by building a strong rapport with all stakeholders.
  • Manage the localisation of all globally provided training content for all APAC markets.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, internal communications and projects, and work with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency across the business of any training initiative.
  • Responsible for publishing all APAC training materials on the LMS and liaising with the various stakeholders involved in the publishing process.
  • Managing all legal reviews and adhoc brand reviews where necessary.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to develop training performance indicators (quantitative and qualitative, long and short term) and measure training efficiency through regular followup.
  • Maintain detailed reporting of all training activities and initiatives, monitoring training efficiency and achievements.

You:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in retail training or sales enablement
  • Strategic agility and longterm vision.
  • Proactive, persuasive and a creative collaborator with a great sense of team spirit.
  • Knowledge of and ease with digital learning and a highinterest level in experimenting with new platforms and technologies.
  • Solutionoriented approach and prior sales experience are highly advantageous.
  • Ability to negotiate with suppliers and manage seniorlevel stakeholder expectations.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communications and presentation skills and ideally fluent in another Asian language to cover projects across APAC.
