Assistant Lifting Engineer-Benoi - Singapore - ST ENGINEERING MARINE LTD.

Description

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day to day on-site project supervision and ensure assigned jobs are carried out effectively and productively in order to meet customer specifications, requirements and deadline.
• To ensure the safety regulations and requirements are being complied on site
• To organize, co-ordinate, control and lead to ensure that all lifting activities are carried out safely and in-line with the quality requirement within the specified schedule on site
• Manage and direct the department prior to the scheduled non-routine and routine duties
• Attend all daily overtime, works and other production meetings upon assigned
• Identify training needs of his team
• Controlling of budget which includes man hours
• Prepare and lead in Kaizen Improvement projects
• Evaluate and assess the work performance of staff

Requirements:

• NTC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Possess 2 years of relevant experience in marine or heavy industries
• Able to read and interpret both general and complex lifting plans
• Possess basic knowledge on budgetting for works
• Able to use Microsoft Excel for basic planning and reporting purpose
• Able to work at heights and under outdoor conditions

Other Information:

• Location: Benoi Road (Island-wide transport provided)
• 5 days work week
• Working Hours: 7.25am-5pm
