Pastoral Care Staff - Yishun, Singapore - Villa Francis Home for the Aged

Duties:

• Provide pastoral counselling for residents, family members, staff and volunteers, where appropriate.
• Coordinate pastoral visitations for hospitalisation, wakes and funerals.
• Assist in organizing and facilitating pastoral care education and programmes/events for volunteers and community partners
• Plan and administer programmes/events to increase staff's awareness of mental well-being, stress management and self-care.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in counselling/ psychology or related fields.
• Relevant theological studies or qualifications would be an added advantage.
• At least 2 to 3 years' of relevant work experience in pastoral care and/or counselling.
• Strong interest in ministering to the elderly.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational and planning skills.
• Full-time: Mon to Fri 9:00am to 5:30pm and alternate Sat 9:00am to 1:00pm
• Part-time: 4 days; 9:00am to 5:30pm

• Expected salary: $2,500 - $3,500 per month
