What the role is

  • We plan and provide HDB residential car parks and strive to provide a safe and convenient parking experience for our motorists, ensure orderly parking and contribute to a building a pleasant living environment for our residents.

What you will be working on

  • As an engineer managing car parks, you will be involved in the following duties:
  • Plan and manage car park improvement projects to ensure the conditions are refurbished, remain functional, safe for use, and deliver a positive parking experience to the users. This includes the calling of projects tender.
  • Review the Tender Specifications and Drawings to ensure the standards, quality of works and materials used comply with requirements.
  • Review and implement checklist for projects/ works.
  • Plan and manage budget utilisation.
  • Conduct operations audits to ensure requirements are complied with.
  • Assess ground requests for car park improvement works.
  • Review Consultant's proposal with Branches and work with Consultant/ Contractor to carry out the necessary works.
  • Work on communications plan and engage stakeholders on works to be carried out.
  • Work with Maintenance Agents to ensure routine maintenance are carried out to specifications and ensure car parks are well maintained.
  • Conduct regular review on routine maintenance framework and benchmark against market practices.
  • Research and implement new technology/materials/standards to car park improvement projects/ works.
  • Use of systems and deploy data analytics to analyse hotspots, progress of works, performance of Maintenance Agents.

What we are looking for

  • You should possess a relevant background in Civil or Structural Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers Board in Singapore with at least 3 years of relevant working experience. You should possess good interpersonal skills to work with various stakeholders and effective communication skills, both verbal and in writing. You should also have good analytical skills and the ability to think logically, are enthusiastic and keen to explore new/creative solutions to resolve building design and development problems and strive to provide better car parks to our residents
