    Description

    The main focus of this role is to work closely with the 3D Game product development team, utilizing your profound knowledge in Unity and Blender/ Maya to create efficient in-game ready 3D models and brand assets, ensuring artistic coherence and delivering quality.     Essential Responsibilities:

    3D Modelling and Texturing:

    Create detailed low poly 3D models of characters props, game objects and particle system for Unity that align with the project's artistic vision.

    Develop high-quality textures and materials/shaders to enhance the visual appeal and realism of assets while working on low poly 3D assets with unity shader graph.

    Shader Development:

    Create and modify shaders to achieve specific visual effects and maintain consistency across the project using unity.

    Stay updated on industry latest trends of materials/shader techniques, implement them when applicable.

    Animation:

    Able to learn and assist with projects that require fluid and smooth animation for characters and objects, ensuring seamless integration into the finest end result.

    Collaborate with animators and 3D game product team to bring life to game objects and enhance storytelling elements.

    Collaboration and Communication:

    -Work closely with artists, designers, and developers to understand project requirements and contribute to the overall creative vision.

    -Provide effective support to team members and guide team members as and when required, maintain ongoing positive relationships and effectively coordinate the project to ensure a smooth workflow and timely delivery of assets.

    Problem Solving:

    -Troubleshoot and find solution to resolve any technical issues with a strong resilient mindset, ensuring the team can rely on your role to deliver smooth workflow.

    -Proactively identify challenges and prepare yourself to upgrade required skills to address future potential challenges during the development process.

    Job Qualification/ Requirements:

    -School and/or proven experience as a 3D modeller/ texture artist in the game design industry or related field.

    -Proficiency in blender, Unity Shader Graph, Zbrush, Photoshop, Substance painter, and other related tools to author 3D assets

    -Portfolio showing 3D art skills and/or demonstrating a high level of artistic creativity

    -Deep knowledge of Unity shader development and lighting principles .

    -Able to independently finish environment model creation (low poly), UV unwrapping/ edit, material creation, texture baking, rendering.

    -Being interested and informed about emerging techniques and technology that is related to your role.

    -Self-motivated and passionate about product thinking mindset.

    -Must be able to quickly adapt to workflow and perform your duty swiftly from time to time as the project evovles.

    -Ability to receive constructive feedback to improve work quality.

    -Strong attention to detail and able to work well under pressure when important project arise.

    -Strong ability to manage multiple projects, timelines and deliverables.
