- Prepare and maintain comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct regular financial audits to identify and rectify discrepancies.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and collections.
- Communicate with customers regarding payment matters and ensure timely resolution.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting to support strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and relevant regulations, including tax regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial analysis and insights supporting decision-making.
- Maintain general ledgers and generate financial reports, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
- Maintain a full set of accounting records and fixed assets schedules, including additions, disposals, and depreciation.
- Perform daily accounting entries and handle monthly staff claims.
- Conduct daily bank reconciliations and submit GST quarterly.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies or inquiries.
- Handle administrative and HR-related duties, such as maintaining staff leave records, salaries, and IR8A forms.
- Continuously update job knowledge through educational opportunities and staying informed about industry trends.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by superiors to support organizational goals.
- Degree in accounting or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
- Previous experience in Advertising/Events Industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in Office applications, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, as well as ERP systems.
- Experience with Xero Accounting Software and Just Login is an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial records keeping.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
