1. Patch Deployment
a.


Patch Deployment Service (SCCM)
Provision for a Patch Deployment services [ Microsoft SCCM licenses to be provided by customer]

Scope of Hardware
All supported customer's servers, desktops & notebooks.

Scope of Software
❖ Windows Operating System

❖ Microsoft Office

❖ Approved Internet Browsers (Edge, Chrome, Mozilla)

❖ Database Client

❖ Adobe Acrobat

❖ 7 zip

❖ Office Communicator System Client

❖ Java Runtime environment version update

❖ Banking Application

❖ Security Patches

The above patches are not exhaustive. The patches will be push to Desktop/Notebook from the SCCM server.

Scope of Patch Deployment Tasks
The Patch management tool is provided by customer.

The following are the patch deployment tasks to be performed:

❖ Assist customer in a study and review of the existing environment

❖ To ensure patch management agent is included in any new build/rebuild process for all installation on desktop units

❖ Work closely with customer to strategize patch and implement management process

❖ Participate in pre-deployment patch testing for new patches /fixes

❖ Work closely with customer with all pre-production patch testing tasks. Customer to provide relevant hardware for pilot test.

❖ Perform desktop SOE/Image patch update and testing services

❖ Check and verify patch deployment status and work closely with resident engineer and/or dispatch engineer to determine the root cause of any failures attend to desk-side for patching support or manual patching if required

❖ Update customer IT Management on latest Windows patches or hot fixes

❖ Perform security & vulnerability patch services monthly or as per agreed SLA with customer for critical patches.

❖ Provide monthly status updates on patch level for all desktops, laptops and Servers & service level reporting to customer IT management

Service Level
❖ To distribute bank approved patches to 95% of the desktop PCs as per the following patch criticality from the date of handover.

  • Critical Patch within 14 Days
  • High Risk Patch within 30 days
  • Medium Risk patch 60 days
  • Low Risk patch 90 days.

2. Software Distribution
a.


Software Management Service (SCCM)
Provision for a software Management services [ Microsoft SCCM licenses to be provided by customer]

Scope of Hardware
All supported customer's Wintel servers, desktops & notebooks.

Scope of Software
❖ Adobe Reader

❖ Java

❖ Microsoft Teams

❖ Zoom

❖ Microsoft Office

❖ Microsoft Hot Fix

❖ Workplace

❖ Mozilla

❖ Chrome

❖ Trend Micro ApexOne

❖ McAfee DLP

❖ Cisco NAC AnyConnect agent

❖ Additional as required


The list above is not exhaustive as there will be new software that the bank will add due to their business needs.

The software will be push to Desktop/Notebook from the SCCM server.

Scope of Software distribution Tasks for Managed Desktops
❖ Work closely with customer to strategize software distribution process

❖ Manage, monitor and deploy software deployment electronically or manually

❖ Participate in pre-deployment software distribution

❖ Check and verify distributed software successfully and working

❖ Provide distributions report to customer IT Management

Service Level
❖ To distribute bank approved software to the desktop PCs within 20 calendar days of handover.

❖ Software assets inventory to be performed monthly and on Ad-hoc request by customer.

❖ Customer end users are also to provide their full corporation to meet timeliness of patching.


3. Desktop and Server SOE
a.


Scope of Tasks
❖ Vendor to create the master image based on the standard guideline provided by customer.

❖ Master image to be developed for notebook and desktop models in customer.

❖ Vendor to maintain Master Image Version Control, to ensure any changes or updates to master image is filed for future references.

❖ Return of all storage media belonging to customer, which is used in the implementation & management of the Master Image.

❖ Vendor to ensure data in the storage media belonging to the customer is secured which is provided for the implementation & management of the SOE.
