As a Trade & Transportation Specialist for motion business, you will be responsible for understanding project specific accepted terms and conditions base on legal incoterm and obligation including awareness of risks of negative impact, performance, and risk factors.

Reporting to Head of Project Management, you will be organizing and executing all aspects of logistics within a supply chain for local & oversea activities. This position is based in Singapore.

Your responsibilities

• Understanding of import and export stature requirement for local and oversea markets
• Executing, directing, and coordinating as required for all transportation matters within organization, vendors, and customers
• Planning, monitoring, and controlling transportation activities include budgets, schedules and routes for incoming, outgoing and transfer of goods for the organization
• Assuring and seeking to improve customer satisfaction and feedback through consistent customer interaction, e.g. communication, (phone, e-mail, etc.) and customer meetings, kick off, review, etc
• Internal & external customer quarterly E-survey to be sent out for completed works to get feedback for improvement
• Working proactively to set customer expectation to assure acceptance of timely deliverables even under challenging circumstances
• Arranging vendors on resources for all local activities on deliverable include stuffing/unstuffing of goods, allocation of containers and import and export clearance documentations
• Managing forwarder and counterparts on processes and documentation for smooth deliveries
• Working actively with a number of suppliers to obtain overall best possible purchase, in cooperation with the supply management function
• E- procurement shall be part of the scope on supply chain management
• Shall be a team player as to understand and assist project deliverable on-time and cost saving

Your background

• Bachelor's degree / diploma with domain experience
• Minimum two years' experience managing logistics & activities
• Experience with logistic deliverable of different size, complexity, and contractual types
• Ability to work with multi-project deliverable, different size, complexity, and contractual types of incoterms
• A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new technologies
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
