Country Manager, Singapore and Oceania - fccsingapore

On behalf of one of its clients in the F&B/Retail industry, The French Chamber of Commerce is looking for a Country Manager:Our client, a large international food services solution Group, is looking for a Country Manager to drive sales volume growth and distribution and lead our regional go-to-market strategy.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead Singapore and Oceania countries "Gotomarket" distribution and marketing strategy, create and propose action plans and longterm plans
- Own Singapore and Oceania countries P&L/Volume targets. Ensure the delivery of financial goals such as volume, net sales, share, margin and distribution objectives
- Translate total Singapore and Oceania strategy into operational plans to achieve volume and/or profit targets within budget
- Plan and manage annual marketing, commercial, structure cost budgets in line with group and regional frameworks
- Responsible for the sales and distribution policies (pricing, promotions, segmentation etc) working with distributors and key accounts
- Managing and negotiation of trading terms annual agreements with distributors and customers
- Build rapport with key stakeholders and distributors externally; Lead customer communications price changes, product launching, discontinuations, programs, etc
- Business growth through new channels development, sales penetration, promotional strategies
- Monthly monitoring and analysis of sales figures and data, as well as success and ROI of sales and promotional activations
- Working closely with global, local supply chain and finance to manage the logistic, invoicing and payment
- Manage local marketing strategy and brand positioning and market/channel segmentation C
- Manage product portfolio, propose and/or support new product launch plans through deep local market understanding, working with the regional marketing and finance team, and the global category teams.
- Team management and resource management needed in the markets in order to develop the business, including recruitment, training, performance management, etc
- Contributing to Southern Asia regional strategy definition and policies for the region together with the region/category
- Contributing and Compliance to group policies, CSR/Oxygen programs, Safety, Legal requirements.
Requirements:
Education
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in businessrelated field or equivalent
- Around 10 years of sales experience in food, food services and / or food retail business industry preferred
- 23 years of experience in a country management or commercial management role
- Experience working with retail/food service channel partners
- Key account management experience
- P&L experience
- Strong communications skills to communicate effectively with various stakeholders: HQ, distributors, customers
- Able to be flexible, pragmatic and agile to suit the operating environment.
- French language is a plus but not a must
