    Description

    You will play an important role in supporting the Procurement team in the planning and smooth operations of the procurement function.

    You will be involved in ensuring compliance in procurement transactions executed by the various divisions; providing advice on how the divisions could strategise their purchases; ensuring proper training and support is provided to users in using the eProcurement system; providing insights and analysis of procurement spend/activities to Management and constantly reviewing procurement policies and procedures to balance operational efficiencies and governance.

    In addition, you will be involved in transforming the role of Procurement team to focus more on data analytics to flag anomalies in procurement transactions and provide meaningful insights, trending to key stakeholders.

    You may lead or be involved in projects to automate/streamline existing processes and in providing support to the Team Lead in the transformation journey.

    You would also need to be a customer-oriented person who would be able to assist various divisions on queries and issues pertaining to procurement, payments and budgeting.


    Requirements:
    Degree in Accountancy, Business or equivalent professional qualificationsMinimum 4 to 7 years of working experienceGood understanding of the procurement function and some accounting knowledge will be an advantageExcellent communication skills in both verbal and written form, and in engaging and managing senior stakeholdersRequires strong planning and organization skills to drive and manage multiple projectsGood analytical and problem-solving skillsProficient in systems such as SAP, electronic procurement system, etcExperience in using low-code tools such as Power Automate, Power App, and building of BI dashboards, would be an advantage
