Facilities Executive / Senior Facilities Executive


RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Facilities Maintenance & Campus Operations:
  • Open and close the campus main entrance, side doors, and classroom doors, ensuring that all lights, air conditioning, and AV equipment are switched on/off respectively.
  • Maintain a checklist for various equipment and maintenance works and keep proper records to facilitate future maintenance and replacement.
  • Conduct daily checks on the campus grounds to ensure that classrooms, offices, and other general areas are cleaned and facilities are well maintained.
  • Conduct site inspections with various term contractors to ensure that services are carried out in accordance with schedules and maintained to the standard set by the Management and/or the authorities.
  • Possess proficiency in trades including AV systems, electrical systems, fire protection systems, furniture, plumbing, and security systems, to carry out first level troubleshooting and handyman repairs, continuous monitoring to recommend improvement and replacement before the end of their life span.
  • Ensure compliance with fire code through proper fire safety management, including the regular maintenance of fire extinguishers, exit, emergency lights, and others.
  • Regularly monitor projector lamp hours, including tracking, and maintaining an updated projector lamp inventory list.
  • Customer Services & Feedback Channels:
  • Provide full support to academic operations by providing timely response to classroom calls and requests relating to teaching equipment set up.
  • Receive and attend to complaints and feedback from students, parents, lecturers, staff, and other customers.
  • General:
  • Manage the first aid kit and its deployment and replenishment.
  • Manage lost and found items by keeping proper records and storage.
  • Ensure compliance with established Campus Safe Management Measures.
  • Undertake any other facilitiesrelated tasks assigned by the Manager and Director of Facilities & Operations, from time to time.

Requirements:


  • No prior experience required for polytechnic graduates with relevant
  • Proficiency in trades including AV systems, electrical systems, fire protection systems, furniture, plumbing, and security systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends as required.
  • Knowledge of local fire code regulations and safe management measures will be an added advantage.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum ITE cert in any engineering field is essential
