Description
Leadership, Development and Management of the French, African and assigned South Pacific territories sales, marketing, and administration teams. Setting a winning culture.

  • Setting strategy for the direction of each region in association with Panamex leadership.
  • Aligned with the strategic and financial goals of the company, setting, achieving approval and the consistent attainment of regional and customer sales, profit, and expense budgets
  • Development and oversight of marketing plans and budgets for each customer and territory in alignment with the Panamex marketing team. Building functional and successful internal relationships.
  • Senior representation of Panamex interests with key regional customers, development of key Panamex personnel to support the growth and success of trade partnerships.
  • Identification, development and driving successful distribution and sales value/volumes into new customers and territories within regions of responsibility.
  • Senior representation of Panamex interests in Business Development activities, including strategy, planning, sourcing, negotiation, and successful outcomes of selected existing and new suppliers to Panamex, regionally and globally.
  • Direct management in association with relationship head of selected NZ and Australian based suppliers, particularly in consideration of the French, African and selected SP territory requirements for profitable growth. Of note, Kraft Heinz, Bluebird, and Tip Top Ice Cream.
  • Direct management of Tip Top Ice cream into Singapore accounts.
  • Partnering and building successful relationships with cross functional heads, particularly finance, marketing, and supply chain/customer services in driving winning strategies for the ongoing development of territories, brands, range extensions and suppliers to Panamex
  • Development, monitoring, and reporting of the business and commercial activity of the territories and customer base. Production and presentation of monthly, quarterly and EOY sales and profit reports. Membership of and reporting territory activities and outcomes of brands, customers, and territories to regional Advisory Boards.
  • Identification of the human resource required for future strategic and profitable growth withing the assigned territories. Selection, employment, development, retention, and succession of talented personnel to enhance the Panamex people capability and resource for the future.
  • Management and approval of regional expenses and control of regional operational costs. Management and control of self and team travel requirements.
  • Identifying training and development opportunities for self and of the regional teams to enhance skills and knowledge for the benefit of both Panamex personnel and Panamex. Discipline and HR management of personnel where appropriate.
  • Involvement, understanding, researching, communicating, and representing the company with regards to French territorial legislation, regulation and legal aspects of trading and personnel management in French and French related territories.

QUALIFICATIONS and ATTRIBUTES

  • Degree Qualified in a Businessrelated discipline.
  • Experienced Sales and Marketer of 10 years+
  • Experienced Sales Leadership 5 years+
  • Multilingual, particularly fluent in French.
  • Financially astute and experienced achiever in sales and cost budgeting.
  • Relationship builder, proven team, internal and external functions, and partnership creator.
  • Strong communicator, ability to communicate at all levels internally and externally.
  • Strong negotiator, proven negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker, proven ability to see the big picture. Creative. Seeks solutions.
  • Tenacious and focussed on the task at hand. Leads from the front.
  • Capable, experienced, and influential presenter to senior internal and external parties
  • Ability to travel frequently, comfortable travelling alone.
  • Ambitious and desire for improvement in self and seeks positional responsibility.
  • Proven ability to thrive on challenge, strong mindset, determined.
  • Experience in most or all the territories assigned, established relationships with key customers and suppliers.
  • Exposure to and experience with French related trading regulations, legislation and legal requirements, relating to products and personnel.
