    :

    Strategic


    • Analyse the selected market in conjunction with the local offices to determine possible Structured Solutions opportunities, and segment clients with a focus on the best potentials

    • Maintain knowledge of latest developments in the selected market

    Structuring


    • Contribute to establish the best structure for meeting client's need, taking into account local and parent accounting requirements, local regulatory environment, and specific client capital, tax, volatility issues, and MR structural advantages

    Pricing


    • Perform the necessary pricing tasks, including understanding the products covered, studying the underlying data, support experience investigations, setting pricing assumptions, and constructing pricing models

    • Price proposed Structured Solutions deal to ensure that all risks are appropriately considered and MR's pricing targets are being met

    • Draft treaties in a clear and concise manner

    • Liaise with the local offices, the other relevant MR internal stakeholders and the clients as deem appropriate

    Deal Approval


    • Prepare the deal submission documents to the relevant internal stakeholder to ensure that each proposed Structured Solutions deal is thoroughly reviewed and vetted by the regional office, and depending on the size, by head office

    • Work closely with the various internal stakeholders as required so that their needs are met and a successful internal approval can be received promptly

    In-force Management


    • Monitor business performance of existing deals and provide regular updates with actionable insights to the management

    • Assist in any other regular or ad-hoc in-force management projects and tasks when required

    Your Profile:


    • Fellow, or working towards fellowship of a recognised actuarial body or equivalent (FSA, FIA, FFA or FIAA)


    • More than 2+ years of actuarial experience in a direct, reinsurance or consulting


    • Good English communication skills, both written and verbal


    • Knowledge of Solvency II, IFRS & RBC developments is an advantage


    • Strong experience and technical grounding with spreadsheets, technical knowledge in AXIS (or other modelling software) is an advanatage
