Intern, Communications - Asia Pacific
The Hilton internship is a professional learning experience that offers meaningful, practical work related to your field of study or career interest.
This specific role will focus on support of Internal and Team Member communications.
What will I be doing?
As the Intern, Communications - Asia Pacific (APAC), you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Research and draft a variety of written materials, such as Team Member announcements and stories for publication on internal communication channels and social media platforms
- Assist in video production such as coordination support for translation, broll and asset collation, montage development and meeting room / venue booking
- Support planning and execution of events, campaigns and activations including collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors, managing project timelines and logistics, research and reporting
- Keep teamwide trackers updated; maintain the team's shared asset / photobank folder; manage the team's Press Office inbox as well as support other activities as required including rotational programs mapped out by APAC Human Resources

- Learn to partner effectively with stakeholders and vendors to successfully deploy high impact communications, events and campaigns
- Learn how to operate efficiently within a global corporate work environment
- Learn how to diligently manage assets and timelines across a highfunctioning Communications team
Requirements for the role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Adaptable to changes and used to working in a fastpaced environment
- Detailoriented and proactive with good problem solving skills
- Able to work well both independently and in a team. Not afraid to speak up when required.
- Flexible to work beyond / outside official hours when dealing with global teams in various time zones
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Design experience is highly preferred
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro is a plus
