Description

You will be part of the Paediatrics Academic Clinical Programme and be involved in distilling the disease mechanism of immune-mediated diseases to identify predictors of poor clinical outcome and novel therapeutic targets for manipulation. You will be responsible for the progress of the research projects under your care and are expected to demonstrate research expertise and capability. This work will be done in SingHealth Translational Immunology Institute that has a vibrant research ecosystem and strong collaborations with clinicians. There will be opportunities to be trained in advanced technological platforms such as mass cytometry, single cell RNA sequencing, Nanostring and Luminex. You will assist the Principal Investigator to lead and supervise students and be involved in research collaborations.

Requirements:

PhD in Life Sciences or equivalent
Pre-existing knowledge in basic immunology and/or experience in genomics data analysis (whole genome/exome sequencing) will be an advantage
Experience in flow cytometry, cell culture, biological/life science or related research
General laboratory experience
Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
Good organisational and writing skills
Candidates with a strong desire to learn and excel with no prior working experience are welcomed to apply
