JOB SUMMARY
Responsible to provide engineering & technical support for all process and mold related issues for new and existing products

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Main technical window for new products and existing mass production parts
Involvement in developing methodology for implementation of new and improved processes
Evaluate molds and processes for continuous improvement programmes and develop implementation methodology while improving cost effectiveness of the same
Technical training and development of engineering team
Preparation of process related technical documentations like FMEA, evaluate processing parameters
Work with continuous improvement teams to meet customer cost reduction goals.
Trial new tooling and equipment and make modifications as needed to meet quality and production goals.
Take customer engineering and design concepts or ideas and incorporate them into feasible design to fit facility/company manufacturing processes
Use creative skills to assist in solving design or manufacturing issues or constraints
Provide primary tooling, component and packaging cost inputs for quotation of new business
Work closely with outside vendors in tooling, equipment, component and material development
Work closely with customers in product, project or system development issues
Keep up on latest industry standards, processes and procedures
Participate in formal improvement team activities
Support all department and organizational improvement initiatives in order to achieve business objectives
Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor/Manager
