Job DescriptionAn opportunity exists for a Research Associate to join the ASEAN Consumer & Internet team based in Singapore. The role will entail an understanding of companies in the Consumer/Retail/Internet space in the region.

The role will require the candidate to support the Analyst in database management, financial modeling & analysis, client presentations and research report writing .

Key Responsibilities

Creating and maintaining earnings models leveraging skills in accounting, finance and economicsKeeping abreast of consumer/retail/internet industry-related news flow and on-the-ground trendsResearching and writing reports focused on a company, sector or thematicResponding to requests for data and information from internal and external clientsAssisting in the design and preparation of analyst marketing strategy and materialsQualifications and Skillset

Bachelor's degree or aboveHave at least 1 year of equity research or relevant industry experience preferredKnowledge of financial modelling with eye for detail requiredHighly motivated with strong interpersonal and team-oriented skillsAbility to effectively work with diverse cultures in a global team with sensitivity and appreciation for diverse culturesQuick learner with an ability to work well within timelinesProactive with strong professional accountabilityGood communication skills.
