Description

The role Head of Material Management will be responsible for the development and improvement of the material planning and supply network planning team.


  • Monthly reporting to plant manager (Delivery performance, Inventory level, Balance score card and blocked orders)
  • Monitor and initiate measures to overall inventory through Dispo Cockpit, blocked orders controlling and scrapping process
  • Optimization of local supply chain and material planning processes in exposure to our global processes with the objective to improve delivery reliability and information quality, shorten lead times and increase productivity
  • Collaboration with our German Headquarter to implement the global supply chain strategy in SEA
  • Responsible for the supply network planning, monthly alignment with cluster demand planner
  • Responsible for the ISOdocumentations, update and modify if change in processes or new processes
  • Test Coordinator of the quarterly release test
  • Regular communication with the team members, provide support and guidance

Job Requirements:


  • Successfully completed studies in the field of business administration, engineering, supply chain management or comparable qualification
  • Many years of experience with managing material planning team
  • Proficiency in SAP (MM, APO), Kinaxis, BI
  • Experience with Dispo Cockpit (DCO, DCC) preferred
  • Strong ability to think and act conceptually and analytically as well as strong problemsolving abilities
  • Project Management (preferable)
  • High intercultural competence and teamwork capability
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin
