Position Objective


The Head of Admissions manages the admissions team to deliver the best experience and provides high quality of service to potential parents to attract Brighton College students/families to meet (and exceed) set pupil recruitment targets.


This role also works ensure consistency and standard of practice regarding admissions process & procedures and promotes School in the wider community including the feeding Schools, partner Schools and corporate connections.


Responsibilities:


_Admissions Management:
_


  • Develop admission strategies by contributing information, analysis and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction.
  • Establish functional objectives inline with the organisation's objectives.
  • Establish operational strategies by evaluating trends, establishing critical measurements, productivity, quality, and customer service strategies.
  • Develop financial strategies to align resources to plans, by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances.
  • Set short, medium, and longterm targets relating to lead generation and rate of conversions.
  • Achieve and exceed (where possible) admissions targets for enrolment.
  • Maintain effective, accurate, and complete data management systems that track and record enrolment.
  • Develop admissions processes so that they are bestinclass including in relation to customer service.
  • Work with and provide feedback to the school in relation to ways the school can support the admissions process.
  • Work closely across internal departments to ensure that accurate information and acquisition and retention opportunities are identified.
  • Work in collaboration with the Head of Marketing to build a strong and highquality pipeline for enquires.
  • Manage the implementation of the annual parent satisfaction survey (Voice of the Parent
  • Joiner / Nonjoiner survey), and using data, identify opportunities and actions for improvements.

_Business and Partnership Development:
_


  • Partner with external agencies (such as education agencies) on student recruitment, including training and management of these agencies.
  • Forge and maintain effective stakeholder relationships with the media, HR, relocation organisations and feeder schools, Marketing and Communications teams, ensuring they have uptodate information and understanding of the school's unique selling points.
  • Work closely and positively with marketing team on campaigns in creating best possible family experience.

_Leadership and Team Management:
_


  • Develop a culture and environment that attracts, retains, and motivates high quality staff.
  • Recruit, inspire, lead, mentor and develop the admissions team.

Position Requirements:


  • Skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of admissions activities.
  • Abilities to network and develop relationships with key stakeholders i.e. relocation and government agencies etc.
  • Experience in analysing data, market dynamics and designing creative and pragmatic solutions.
  • Experience developing and managing budgets; hiring, training, developing team from different cultures.
  • Outstanding influencing skills and ability to operate in a matrix organisation.
  • Must have outstanding communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
  • Highly motivated with an eye for detail and quality of work; proactive attitude and passion for achieving results.
  • Working experience with a comprehensive CRM system is a 'must'.


Key measures of success include generation of new enquiries, new parent visits and registrations, enrolment conversion rates, building strong working relations with key stakeholders (school management, parental body).


Qualifications:


  • Degree level qualification with demonstrated success in a multinational environment in Singapore / UK.


8-10 years of experience in a consumer sales or sales of high value-added services, ideally gained at a blue-chip organisation.

Working Conditions:


  • Based in Brighton College Singapore
  • Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, with occasional weekend work for school events or other projects
