Morgan Payment Technology is expanding our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team in Singapore and welcome strong hands-on software engineers to join us.

Site Reliability Engineering does not focus either on DevOps or Application Support or Development, to be successful you require a combination of skillsets including coding, system design, database, monitoring tools, automation, disaster recovery, high availability and infrastructure.

SRE are Engineers first, you will need to be able to demonstrate that you can write quality codes.


Responsibilities:


  • Design, code, test, and deliver high quality software
  • Automate manual operational work
  • Troubleshoot priority incidents, facilitate blameless postmortems and ensure permanent closure of incidents
  • Implement required telemetry and observability to monitor and measure the quality of service in realtime against the established SLO.
  • Engage with development team throughout the life cycle to help develop software for reliability and scale, ensuring mínimal refactoring or changes
  • Build and drive adoption for greater selfhealing and resiliency patterns
  • Design automated software and product upgrades, change management, and release management solutions
  • Participate in the 24x7 support coverage as needed

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years of SRE or System engineering or software development experience

Proficient in at least one or more software languages such as Java (preferred) or Python with respect to designing, coding, testing and software delivery:

  • Proficient in the development of automated tools, systems and services in multiple technology domains
  • Good knowledge of one or more infrastructure components such as networking, cloud services, orchestration tools, containerization, compute and storage systems
  • Proficient in servicelevel changes to a system and troubleshooting components
  • Design and implement and contribute to performance monitoring and capacity management tools
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
  • Handson experience with: Java, Spring boot, Kafka, Databases, SQL, Git, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Python
  • Experience in using industry standardmonitoring and alerting tools e.g.
    ,AppDynamics, Dynatrace, APICA, Splunk, ELK,FluentD, Prometheus, Kibana, Grafana, Nagios, Datadog, New Relic, Geneos etc.
