    Roles & Responsibilities

    Summary

    The Payroll Executive plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. Responsible for various payroll-related tasks, including new hire data management, salary processing, statutory payments, and payroll reconciliations, the Payroll Executive ensures compliance with company policies and regulations. With a keen eye for detail and proficiency in payroll systems, the Payroll Executive contributes to the smooth operation of the payroll function.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Do new hires process including interface and update the necessary data in the payroll system
    • Process overtime/salary / new hires, part-timers & interns' payroll and resigned staff final salary payment
    • Do upload and verify overtime, unpaid absences, allowances, expenses, claims, and other one-time payments/recovery before the above payroll process
    • To check on renewal contracts, conversations to permanent contracts, and re-employment contracts cases and update into payroll system
    • To check on the computations and adjustments to be made for promotions and salary adjustments including calculations of back payment of salary increment, update/cease of fixed allowances & bonuses and update into payroll system
    • Ensure all statutory claims i.e. In-Camp Training, childcare, paternity, shared parental & maternity leave are submitted promptly
    • Ensure all foreign worker levy waivers are updated and submitted promptly
    • Prepare payroll summary & reconciliation for GL interface and upload into SAP.
    • Prepare payroll summary & reconciliation for CPF payments and upload into the CrimsonLogic website
    • Ensure no overpayment of salaries to resigned staff and recover any overpayment if necessary
    • Update salary owing worksheet and follow up - refer cases to debt collector / send reminders
    • Liaising with staff on payroll-related queries
    • Perform any other duties as and when assigned
    • Ensure compliance with all workplace safety, security, and health policies and procedure

    Requirements

    • Minimum Diploma in Accounting or Finance from a recognized tertiary institution
    • Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience
    • Working knowledge of SAP and payroll system, familiarity with PayMaster is advantageous.
    • Knowledge of statutory payments
    • Able to handle payroll for 2000 headcounts
