We are looking for an experienced and goal orientated individual to join us as Finance Operations Controller.

The role is responsible for managing the schedule of activities supporting the processing of transactions in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Staff Expenses and Fixed Assets Systems, the interfaces between these systems and the General Ledger System and interactions with related Modules under Lease Accounting and Projects.

The Finance Operations Controller is required to be effective in implementing controls whilst driving efficiency and consistency in these areas of operations.

What you do

Manage the team to ensure the transactions are processed accurately and efficiently as agreed in Service Level Agreements (SLA).
Take the lead in issue resolution on operational matters.
Handle data analytics to identify exceptions and trends.
Ensure a rigorous review of reconciliations, highlighting relevant issues to internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and policies and risk assessments.
Stay updated on processing practices and provide support in the implementation of new policies or system changes.
Create and enhance operating procedures and policies.
Act as a key coordination point for internal and external audit walkthroughs, controls testing.
Build good rapport with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

Who you are

Degree or equivalent academic qualifications.
10 years of relevant experience in finance operations.
Proven handson experience of Oracle/Fusion Systems.
Proficient in data analytics tools.
Management of teams of 1520 team members.
