    Description
    Roles & Responsibilities

    An internship position for a student with mechanical background to obtain training in prototype fabrication, overseeing project management and execution, assisting with operation of equipment, development of risk assessments, safe work procedures, method statements and technical documentation, troubleshooting the operations.

    Intern's duties include:


    • To perform mechanical engineering activities to design, fabricate, develop and verify product characteristics prior to manufacturing in high volume, in a cost and time effective manner.


    • To create technical specifications and collaborate with fabrication team to ensure the parts are meeting specification and function as intended.


    • Resolve product quality issues arising from production or operation by working closely with team members.


    • Support mechanical testing and create technical report.

    Requirements for the intern:


    • Pursuing Diploma from a Poly or Bachelor or Master's degree from University in Mechanical Engineering in Singapore.


    • Has hands-on experience with metal works (cutting, grinding, drilling, etc.).


    • Proficient with MS Office.


    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.


    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.


    • Proficient in 3D CAD software.


    • Able to follow Workplace Safety and Health regulations. Having safety training certificates is an advantage.


    • Fit to wear dust mask/gas respirator.
