Description

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in coordinating the preparation of the RFQ with discipline leaders, paying attention to defining vendor input data and VDR issue planning based on feedback from various teams.
  • Support Lead Engineer in providing engineering matters and Architectural design documents.
  • Review documentation from subcontractors and construction contractors to ensure compliance with Architectural aspects, codes, specifications, and requirements.
  • Ensure Engineering Quality Plan is in place for the project and communicate roles and responsibilities to project personnel.
  • Assist procurement team with technical issues and raise TQ if necessary.
  • Review and approve vendor drawings and documents.
  • Solve problems related to Technical Bid Evaluation.
  • Liaise with Vendor/Client in collaboration with project and construction managers.
  • Prepare MTO, calculations, and weight control for Architectural Discipline.
  • Create detail drawings and review final Engineering documentation.

Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in the Architectural or Structural field within Marine/Oil & Gas industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and basic knowledge of AutoCAD, PDMS 3D modeling, Navisworks, and relevant codes and standards.
  • Familiarity with International Codes, Norsok Standard, SOLAS code 74, and associated industry standards.
