Job Description:


Primary Objective

  • Lead a team to promote and maintain RHB's brand value, image, profile and competitiveness in Singapore.
  • Lead the development and execution of a robust public relations and communications strategy.
  • Plan, develop, execute and measure strategic communication and CR and sustainability initiatives, campaigns and events across all channels to support objectives of RHB Banking Group in Singapore (RHB Bank & RHB Asset Management).
  • Manage media pitching and engagement efforts for RHB Bank, Asset Management in Singapore for maximum media exposure.
  • Plan and manage overall internal and external strategic communications to ensure uniform messaging across business units.
  • Drive Corporate Responsibility initiatives and build CR voluntarism culture within the Singapore Office in alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Crisis communications management and involvement in exercises at all levels
  • Corporate profiling through obtaining external awards and recognition.
  • Oversee internal and external service related awards and recognition for RHB Singapore staff
  • Directs the ESG & Sustainability efforts and coordinate tactical execution across business & functional units in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

  • Roles & Responsibilities Internal & External Communications
  • Develop and maintain the corporate identity and brand image through a master brand/marketing strategy and campaign for RHB Singapore (Bank, and Asset Management)
  • Develop and ensure consistency for all communications strategy/plans across various business units of RHB Singapore
  • Work with business stakeholders and their teams to establish opportunities for profiling and exposure on mainstream media
  • Establish success metrics, measurement through an efficient and effective process with stakeholders on goals and results aligning with RHB Singapore's strategic objectives
  • Optimize and effectively manage BMC's budgets to achieve investment efficiencies for RHB Singapore
  • Provide thought leadership to business stakeholders in formulation of communication strategies that support business strategies Crisis Communications
  • Strategize and lead internal and external crisis communications
  • Key representative for crisis communications aspect in Incident Management Team
  • Write and seek necessary clearances for media holding statements and press releases
  • Support in customer complaint management and communications where required
  • Enhance and maintain crisis communication processes
  • Manage media queries and conduct press conferences Awards & Recognition
  • Secure external awards & recognitions
  • Drive internal awards campaigns for staff recognition that build up to industry level awards recognition (eg EXSA) Corporate Responsibility
  • Strategize and drive local CR efforts and initiatives
  • Work with grassroots and community service centres to drive importance of sound financial management and awareness
  • Enhance awareness and participation internally and externally
  • Drive fundraising events ESG / Sustainability
  • Strategize and drive ESG initiatives to steer RHBSG towards adopting green practices and adhere to necessary guidelines
  • Drive and reinforce sustainability culture and practices for RHBSG
  • Implement workshop series and capacity building workshops to enhance staff knowledge, awareness and build capability
  • Obtain various eco certifications and recognitions for RHBS

Qualifications:


  • Comms related degree
  • Minimum 35 yrs experience
