[What the role is]


SYSTEM ARCHITECT
[What you will be working on]

You will be responsible for the design, development, testing and subsequent enhancements of system architecture for maintenance and analytics module.

You will perform the design and development of the system architecture for the maintenance and analytics engine of the next generation bus management system.

You will be involved throughout the product life cycle, working with the internal and external stakeholders, and development team.

In addition, you will assist in developing alternative solution proposals and participate in the evaluation process as well as develop the module of the next generation bus management system using the relevant development language.

You will participate in different internal forums and lead work streams to improve methodology, internal processes, standards and guidelines.

Beyond these, you will identify optimization options on system architecture level, assist in continuous reviewing of architecture system and propose enhancements to sustain/improve system performance.

You will understand business requirements/functional requirements and translate them into test cases.

[What we are looking for]

. Tertiary Qualification in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related
. At least 4 years' experience in software development and system design
. Strong knowledge of DevOps, Agile methodology and Solution Architecture
. Process knowledge of SDLC, Project Management, Systems architecture
. Working knowledge of CI/CD
. Strong knowledge of enterprise integration technologies including messaging (JMS), events, webservices (REST, SOAP), streaming (Kafka)
. Experience with the cloud (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
. Project Management and Cloud qualification will be an advantage.
