[What the role is]

Join a team of dynamic professionals to support the Diploma in Food & Beverage Business on-campus training restaurant. You will play a key role in planning, procurement functions, supplier/stakeholder management and inventory management and analytics. You will also assist the chef in the day-to-day operations and management of the training restaurant.

[What you will be working on]

  • Provide management support and general administration for the training restaurant including purchasing administration, inventory control and financial administration.
  • Maintain operation readiness and upkeep of training equipment, servicing and preventive maintenance works for the training restaurant.
  • Support and assist the chef in the daytoday operations of the training kitchen, including service quality, standards, workflow, processes and productivity.
  • Assist the chef in the supervision of learners in delivering quality food and service to guests, safe use of kitchen equipment, and enforcing standard operating procedures and guidelines in the training kitchen.
  • Provide training to learners on purchasing and inventory management as well as the use of the Restaurant Management System (RMS).
  • Contribute to other tasks or projects assigned
[What we are looking for]

  • Relevant qualification and experience in F&B procurement and inventory management
  • F&B kitchen / culinary skills
  • Effective at interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written
  • Systematic and detailed in planning and organizing
  • Good team player, selfdriven and serviceoriented
  • Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint
