We are expanding our innovation team to drive excellence in advance research, design and technology development for BISSELL products.

As a member of the Advanced Development team, you will lead the charge for creating new technology and design solutions for BISSELL products.

You will be part of a global collaborative innovation team to drive excellence in investigating and delivering new competitive feature and cost solutions for functions and performance of components and sub-systems in BISSELL products.

Responsibilities:

You will carry out the following work activities as part of your role:

• Drive investigations, development and integration of new technology and design solutions into BISSELL products.
• Coordinate activities internally in the organization and externally with partners/suppliers to investigate and conclude on the technical and financial feasibility of new technology and design solution ideas.
• Present investigations to stakeholders with clear data driven conclusions and recommendations that include solution value, limits, tradeoffs, costs, risks, and effort.
• Engage Global Product Marketing and Engineering Teams to review and conclude the feasibility of the new technology and design solutions proposals for products.
• Progress implementation and validation of new technology and design solutions with cross functional teams to mature readiness for product integration.
• Support product engineering teams in the integration of new technology and design solutions into product designs.
• Contribute to advancing technology design knowledge and capabilities in the organization.
• You have good technical working experiences in:
• Power Electronics Circuits Design, Analysis, Simulation and PCB Implementation
• Power semiconductor devices such as MOSFET, BJT, Op-Amps, MOSFET Drivers, fuses and diodes.
• Circuit simulation and analysis (e.g. LTSpice, SPICE, Matlab Simulink etc)
• Thermal management for electronics designs with high current.
• Schematic and PCB design tools (e.g. Altium, Mentor Graphic etc)
• EMC/EMI compliance for Product Design
• Battery Management Systems (BMS)
• Motor Drive Systems (BLDC and/or PMDC and/or AC)
• Power Electronics Conversion AC-DC and DC-DC
• Battery CV/CC Charger Systems
• Intelligent Charger Systems, e.g. QC and USB-PD

Qualifications:


You have the following educational background:

• PhD/Master's degree in Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering
• Industry experience is preferred but not required in the case of relevant experience gained through research and academic engagements.

You must have passion, energy and a natural curiosity for research, technology and design.
